I’ve travelled extensively throughout North America and Europe, covering 15 countries as well as 26 states in the USA, but I started this travel blog specifically to document my trips around Mexico, with a particular emphasis on Mexico City, the capital and largest city of Mexico, and most populous city in North America. The idea is to share my photos, experiences, and perspective, as a gringo, about what I’ve seen and learned there, and to separate fact from fiction, so as to assist any others thinking about visiting there. To that end, where relevant, I’ll also incorporate the perspectives of my sons (ages 18 and 20 as of August 2024) and my wife to give the fullest overview of what to expect.
So, if you’re interested in learning about Mexico, and particularly Mexico City, or visiting there (which I highly recommend!), I hope you will enjoy the insight and tips provided here about the delicious cuisine, magnificent museums and other attractions, and what to expect with regards to the weather, personal safety, entertainment, transportation, day-trips to take, etc! You’re sure to see how it is easy to mix fun and excitement in this place steeped in rich culture and history!
